Regional Leadership Competitions
Wisconsin HOSA will host Regional Leadership Competitions virtually for the Secondary Division only. Members compete through their local chapters. To qualify for a competitive event at the State Leadership Conference, members in the Secondary Division must first compete at the Regional Leadership Competitions. All policies and procedures are outlined in the Wisconsin HOSA Competitive Events webpage.

December 1
SS members select one (1) competitive event. Competitors prepare for events and qualifying levels thereafter. Check if the event requires to be available for the Live Day via Zoom on Jan 11th. This will avoid scheduling conflicts, plan ahead.

Registration Window
Cost: Competitors $15, Advisors - No Fee ($0) but must be registered if they have competitors. Late registrations may be accepted up to five (5) consecutive days past the registration close date with a one time chapter late fee of $25.00. Any requests for edits/changes/adds will result in a $50.00 fee.

December 10
Chapter Online Testing Proctors added in HOSA Online System. All chapters with online testing need to have one adult proctor registered in their chapter portal. Advisors cannot serve as online testing proctors.
Advisors must also notify the State Director by this date if they have a conflict and are unable to support the Live Day as a Judge or Event Personnel. If an Advisor is unable to assist with the Live Day, they are expected to secure a Proxy Advisor to provide support on their behalf.
Competitors participating in Competitive Events with a Live Day component will also have the opportunity to select their own Appointment Time. If competitors have NOT selected their appointment time by this deadline, the CE Management Team will automatically assign those competitors to any remaining times available. Requests for schedule changes will NOT be approved after this date.

December 15
RLC CE Final Prep Q&A Session at 7:00 pm over Zoom - SS Division only. Zoom link will be shared with local advisors.
December 20
All RLC registered advisors and competitors will be emailed the RLC password protected webpage access instructions to regional information and final appointment times for those competing on the Jan 11th Live Day over Zoom.
Advisors will receive their Event Personnel assignments.
December 30
Online Testing Proctors will receive their instructions and access to the online testing system for student testing logins.
All RLC registered advisors and competitors will be emailed the RLC instructions.
RLC Payment due to the State Office.
January 2-8
Digital Upload Submissions window open.
Local Online Testing with a proctor.
Advisors cannot serve as proctors.
January 11
Live Competitive Events over Zoom (refer to www.wihosa.org/competitive-events for a list of events). There will be no scheduling accommodations granted.
February
January 25
RLC Recognition Session Results
Published, State Qualifiers announced and located on RLC Password Protected Webpage.
RESULTS at the regional level will be based on individual or team achievement.
Competitors/teams can achieve a rating certificate of Gold [80%+], Silver [79.99-60%], and Bronze [59.99% or lower]. The percentage score is calculated by points earned out of the points possible for each event. Certificate level does NOT guarantee advancement to SLC.
The Top 15 competitors/teams per event will be invited to advance to the state level.
