State Leadership Conference

CONFERENCE GOALS

  • Provide a variety of educational social learning activities at a state level for HOSA members.

  • Provide educational workshops that promote the development of students and further Wisconsin HOSA purposes

  • Provide HOSA members the opportunity to share common experiences in leadership development, community service, and understanding of their health science programs

  • Provide information about current healthcare issues and concerns at the local, state, and international level in health science of which HOSA foster attitudes of good ethical principles and respects for the dignity of work 

  • Provide the opportunity for participation in and recognition of leadership and skill development through competitive learning activities. 

  • Conduct the necessary annual business of the state association by the local voting delegates and Wisconsin HOSA Board of Directors.

  • SLC Registration is open for PS/C, SS, MS members

    • Register members for competitive and recognition events

    • Register 2 voting delegates from your chapter

    • Register 2 courtesy corps volunteers from your chapter

    • Register members for ATC exams and training options/activities

    • Form teams for the Anatomage Anatomy Tournament

    • Select shirt sizes for each registered attendee

    • Identify dietary restrictions and/or physical accommodations

    • Select state pin and quantity to be ordered

    • Advisors sign-up to serve as an event manager at SLC

    • Advisors complete Years of Service form

  • Anatomage Anatomy Tournament Registration Due (chapters can form multiple teams)

  • HATS Submissions and Advisor Approvals Due - Barbara James Service Awards and HOSA Service Project

  • State Pin Order and Payment Due - pins distributed at SLC (Check and ACH accepted)

  • SLC Registration Payment Due to Wisconsin HOSA (check and ACH accepted)

  • Middle School Division Online Testing Window
